Basic workplace health & cleaning safety rules

Purpose: Keep staff, clients, and property safe during all cleaning and supply work.

Core rules

Wear gloves and proper footwear.
Use products only as labeled.
Mix chemicals only when safe and instructed.
Keep wet floor signs visible.
Report broken equipment or hazards immediately.
Do not work if sick or unsafe.

Spill / incident response

Stop work and secure the area.
Notify the client / supervisor.
Clean spill safely using the correct product.
Document the issue in the job report.

Supply handling

Store chemicals away from food and children.
Keep inventory in sealed containers where possible.
Do not overload shelves or vehicles.

Acknowledgement
